Milano Pizzeria - Quebec City, Quebec

We were blown away by this place. My wife and I ordered an "All Dressed" pizza, which in Quebec is Mushrooms, Green Peppers and Pepperoni. We took our first bite and looked at each other wide-eyed. We both agreed it was the best pizza we ever had. I looked at the ... menu to see the other dishes, because if the pizza was this good, I'm coming back to try more dishes. The prices? At least 40% less than the restaurants in the Old City tourist area and the quality blows anything in the Old City away. Be advised it's best to reserve a table. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. without a reservation and were kindly advised that they were completely booked from 6:30 onwards and "Would be a problem for us?" Not a problem... Around 6:00, the tables started filling up, and when we left at 6:15 it was getting nice and busy... As someone once said, "Offer excellent food at great prices and they will certainly come." Fabulous Pizza, Normal prices... Definitely worth seeking out this little gem. An 8 oz glass of wine bumped up our bill, but otherwise it was a great deal for this area of town.

It was my first time visiting Quebec City, and I'm thrilled that I stumbled upon such an excellent place. It was cozy, delicious, and welcoming. I ordered the carbonara, and it turned out to be exceptionally flavorful pasta, not just pasta with sauce. However, what truly delighted me was the ... pear pizza. Delicious pizza at a local pizzeria. Huge amount of fun pizzas and cool things to try out. The staff are very friendly and worked hard to make our stay pleasant. It’s a busy place so come early! Some of the appetizers were not available to order by the time we got ... there; it was only 18:00. My suggestion for improvement would be a menu that better reflects what they can offer throughout the evening. Read more

Friendly service and excellent, excellent, excellent pizza!!! If you're coming here for dinner on the weekend, come early because it is very popular. If you're from the States, you will notice that there are packets of butter for your pizza--it's for your pizza crust. There is a downside, but ... it doesn't pertain to the restaurant or the food. It concerns parking. Parking is difficult to find around this restaurant so be prepared to walk a bit. Read more
