Large, delicious portions. Dynamite roll was a bit different from other sushi places. The shrimp in the roll was not tempura but still very good. Ramen broth was superb.

It is a really small sushi restaurant. The restaurant is perfect to pick something to eat and take it home. The service can't be bit.The prices are really good and the food is quite delicious. The cali dina combo it is only $4.99 and you get two full rolls.

Captain Sushi is a newer sushi place right by Costco on Ottawa Street. My family has been ordering sushi there since about a week after they opened their doors. (Previously, another sushi restaurant was in this location.) The Costco combo and Spicy combo are fantastic. The spicy sauce and mayo sauce they ... use are delicious. I love how they make their bento boxes! Beef or chicken (more of a breaded katsu type), always good. Their teriyaki bowls alone are delicious, and far from standard fair. I always see the same two young men working there. They are polite, courteous, and nice to deal with. Of all of the sushi places I have ordered from, this is one of two that I always feel intent on tipping very generously at. The service is simply fantastic! The only downside is the atmosphere - there is none. But I have to tell you, that has never bothered us. We always get phoned in orders to go! We are already regular customers here. Read more

I rarely give one star reviews, but I had a terrible experience at captain sushi after deciding to go based on positive reviews. First mistake was dining in, they are definitely designed for take out. We asked for no mayo on rolls and they refused to do it saying they ... make big batches of fake crab in the morning and use it all day. We ordered and the restaurant was empty, but they neglected to tell us there was take out orders ahead of us so food took at least 30 min. They didn't even give us our tea or miso soup until 20 min in. They are in crock pots just in the restaurant area so finally I went for self serve and then they said I couldn't do that. Captain sushi Grand opened last week. This new sushi restaurant is so unique and cozy. Specially, rolls and combo menu is fresh, delicious and cheap. If you ever taste one bite, you will never stop to eat.
