Sushi Express - Port Coquitlam, British Columbia

Phenomenal sushi! They currently are under new management and the interior is really nice and cozy. Overall it's an amazing sushi place with great customer service. I had the aburi party box, russian roll, salad and calamari. The owners are wonderful and the plates and everything are really pretty too.

Hadn't been here in a while, so I decided to stop by there to Togo yesterday. Pleasantly surprised to renovate the whole tables and kitchen. They also have an excellent menu selection for both sushi & hot food. Especially, Volcano is the must eat special roll. Fresh & bigger size ... salmon is also excellent. great service & great price! I was looking forward to coming to Sushi Express as it had been a while since I was last here. When I drove by I noticed that the specula were not listed in the front of the restaurant and the restaurant had been painted a dark color. There werr a ... few staff members working but I was only greeted by 1 . There was no one else eating at the restaurant. The restaurant walls had been painted to a dark color. The menu had fewer choices and no specials. The prices were higher then sushi town, which had amazing food. The sushi rolls were a decent size but the price was too high. The restaurant is located across from the bottle depot in not the best area. This restaurant had changed ownership twice since I first started coming here. It was know to have high quality and low prices before. Now the quality is still good but the prices are much too high for the area. I wish them luck in staying open for a long time. Haven’t had sushi this good in a while...! Restaurant has extremely kind owners, place is clean, food quality is on point, price is fair and service is good! Checked this place out after seeing that there was new management coming in + a new menu as well. They did not ... disappoint! Brought a vegan friend with me and they were so accommodating as well.
