we go there almost every month, or more. The broth is clear, no scum and very flavorful. You could just tell that it's made with time and effort. The tea they serve before the food is good too. (artichoke tea... I think.) I really wish I could buy the broth seperately so I ... could eat pho every day. :( spring rolls are tasty too. we used the same ingredients to make them at home -fail big time. Came here for lunch. The Pho Bo Vien was excellent. The broth of the Bun Bo Hue was very tasty; however, I I felt there was something missing… no pork knuckles nor pork hock. We came here on a Saturday ~6pm after a beautiful outing day. We ordered 2 spring rolls, 1 grilled beef rice, 3 tonkinese soups. After 10min the rice dish arrived. Another 10min wait we then reminded the waiter about the spring rolls appetizer which he brought it after 5min. Then ... another 15min we reminded again and the 3 soups arrived. Their excuse is there's too many takeout orders!!! There's absolutely no consideration at all for customers in the restaurant and on top of that, the waiter was rude and food was running out. I would give a 4.5 if there was one, but def deserves more than a 4 so I gave a 5! Unexpected from this old neighborhood strip mall, quite good and priced very reasonably. Cheaper than most Vietnamese places around town.
