Just had a nice bowl of pho. The beef was wicked tender & plentiful. The guy was funny & front lady was nice.

I ordered Phở nạm / well-done beef pho. The taste was surprisingly okay. My only complaint would be that the beef didn't have enough fats 🙁 (way too lean, actually). The broth was light like Northern Pho, obviously the taste wasn't there yet but def acceptable. Really optimal for quick & ... feel good lunch. The service was really efficient, I ordered when I got seated and got my bowl of Pho ~2 minutes later. You paid at the front. The restaurant was crowded when I was there. Maybe they were having an off day. We came on a very busy day after Christmas and some of the competition was closed. First it took forever to get us seated. They wiped the table with a dirty rag and they didn’t even wipe the table completely and we used our ... own wet napkins to wipe the table. We had to wait like 15 minutes for the menu and then another 15 minutes to get order taken and food delivered… then they never delivered the spring rolls. The beef brisket pho (number 5) I had was absolutely terrible. The broth was watery and bland. The beef slices looked like they were thrown in as a block straight from frozen so they were stuck together (as shown in the picture). They also gave us way too little bean sprouts for two large bowls of pho. The whole time the table felt like grease, similar to how old McDonald’s well seasoned slick plastic tables. Then when I went to pay at the counter, the stench of rot wafted from the kitchen. This was just a wholly unpleasant experience. At a minimum, they have quality control issues when they get busy.
