Yoy Sushi Bar - Montreal, Quebec

The delivery man was so friendly and the guy on the phone too! We ordered and everything was super fresh and very good. Delivery time of approximately 40 minutes to Côte-des-Neiges.

I ordered at almost 12:00 am and the host on the phone was very polite and got the order perfectly. It was nice and fresh and the taste of the sushi was good, it was the number 39 (teryaki) and 23/24 avacado and cucumber. they were all surprisingly ... fresh despite that it was so late at night. The restaurant had to call back twice to confirm my address for delivery. Then the driver phoned me directly and ended up yelling at me because he couldn't find my address. He was across town a good 10 minutes away. When we finally got the sushi (an hour and a ... quarter later) it was horrible. The rice was undercooked, and the "chefs choice" had only a few pieces with actual fish, the tempura was mush. Never again!!!! Read more

The worst sushi we have ever tasted in Montreal. If we want a package of pre-made sushi, we will pay a reasonable amount at the grocery store. It was neither fresh nor tasty, the majority of sushi was made from defrosted pollock. Several sushis were overfried, cold, and hard. Even ... the rice was not up to par. I ate this meal with great frustration and disappointment. Basically, it cost us $35 for two decent soups and a bunch of wasted sushi. Ordering at yoy sushi is like putting (too much) change in a vending machine for an express meal without quality. I vomited a little in my mouth. :( I will never order from Yoy Sushi again, there are so many good sushi restaurants in Montreal! Read more

Honestly, I went recently and their new system is great. It was 11:00 and the sushi bar was still open and the prices are terribly low and the sushi is made in front of you. It's really a fantastic place and it's the place where you sell sushi that closes ... the latest! Their general tao chicken is excellent and the servers are very nice :) Read more
