I love this place!! I've lived in NDG almost 10 years and I've been getting sushi here for most of that time. The food is always fresh and delicious. The people who run the place are super friendly and genuine. It's just the two of them running the whole thing! ... It's just always been a good experience. My usual order is the maki royal and spicy salmon maki. This time around I got an 80 piece order for a party. Everything was ready in about an hour and a half as they promised. The owners are a lovely couple. Always smiling and so welcoming. My order is usually ready in less than 20-30 minutes and they are so accommodating for ... my food allergies. Sushi star is such an awesome place. The owners are so sweet and welcoming, not to mention the food is awesome and worth the price.
