We had the tasting menu for $53 and the first course made us sick. Both my wife and I immediately started to feel off after eating the fish. It left a lingering taste of bad fish. We ended up taking the rest of the meal to-go. My wife felt nauseous ... and wanting to throw up. Besides the fish making us sick, was not impressed with the quality of the sushi for the price. The service is really good, the servers know everything and are very kind. The food is really fresh, and really tasty, it’s a really good place for a date night!

I love this place and the owner Saeng! His staff is so amazing and attentive and fun! Let’s; talk about the FOOD QUALITY !!! The tasting platter with the sashimi is to die for! It is in a ginger apple reduction and is unlike anything you have ever tasted. ... Then the sushi… like the Bob Marley …. And spicy tuna… just out of this world and filled with PURE LOVE! The atmosphere is epic, cozy and intimate as well as filled with decor from Laos … really Thaïlandaise and spiritual . I highly recommend this spot! I went in with high hopes, was totally disappointed by the menu as it had no pictures whatsoever, even though it was all digital by scanning a QR code. I thought I'm going to end up giving it a 1 or 2 stars rating because the manager interrupted the waiter while ... taking our order several times... We ordered a couple rolls to test the waters, and let me tell you, the service was quick, and the food was absolutely AMAZING! We ended up making a full order with appetizers as well! I've been close to a 100 sushi places in multiple countries, and this is the best hands down! The waiters always had a smile even when I complained about the menu having no pictures. This is one restaurant we always visit every time we are in Montreal. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. One employee even recognized us although it’s been four years since we were there last time. Their sushi is not the traditional type, which is why they call it fusion ... sushi. But their food, from sushi, maki to sashimi, it is always fresh. We have never had any bad experiences. Their prices are a bit higher now. For the service we received and the great quality food they prepared, it was still worth it in my opinion. Read more
