Bleu Caramel - Montreal, Quebec

The setting is beautiful and very promising, unfortunately our experience ended there when the dishes arrived. We took the 5-course Japanese menu with "Vie Urbaine" and the sushi was even worse than in the all-you-can-eat restaurants (canned tuna in a maki, smoked salmon certainly frozen in nigiri...) I would advise them ... to focus on Korean cuisine if they do not have the budget or sufficient attendance to work with fresh fish because the regular prices on their menu are those of a high-end Japanese restaurant. Over priced and not fresh

Go for the ambiance and the excellent service. I went twice, and both times, the waiter was extremely helpful and pleasant. The food is good, and the presentation is nice, but it's a little pricey. It's worth going for the experience!

A great place for sushi; perhaps one of the best in Montreal (a city whose selection of good sushi is sadly not what it should be). I have had better sushi (although not by much) but the overall experience (decor and service) is hard to beat.

Best new Japanese restaurant we've come across in the last three years.
