Unfortunately terrible! We ordered take out soujouk, tabouleh, fattouch and a mix platter. Tabouleh was simply cut parsley, fattouch is indulged with red wine vinegar, sawgy salad with cucumber. Sure they do, if you like waiting hours and bad excuses, no combos on delivery , so you are forced to buy a la carte , running up your ... bill , need to buy a hundred sauces just to make an ordinary size sauce , total ripoff. I tried this place because I work in the area. I had previously checked the reviews and it left me puzzled so I decided to try it myself. It says it's a mixed of African cuisine and portuguese. First thing when i walked in, i noticed the place was very ... clean. Nobody greated me, nothing surprising with black business when you're a black customer (we need to improve on our customer service skills by the way) There was a man at the cash, he was very nice (not african). Now let's go to the food part. I ordered a half chicken with alloco (fried plantain). Now, the chicken was good I can't lie. And they gave alot. BUT, that's SO NOT portuguese chicken like... what are y'all doing! I'd rather you call it african chicken and it'll be all fine. Just the fact y'all call it portuguese and its clearly not, it makes it taste bad because thats not the taste we're expecting. Also, the alloco were not that great. They were warm but it wasn't like fresh out the oil. I'm from the islands (carribean) we do plantain as well and that's not how we like it. Also, us, we eat with some sort of gravy or some that we can dip in. The whole meal was dry overall because the way the alloco tasted they needed gravy to be acceptable. That's why overall im giving 3*. Food was okay but not great. Will i go again? Yes, maybe just to see if it was a bad day but at this point, i wouldn't precisely recommend that place. Read more

Very tasty chicken. It was worth the wait

Got supper there tonight. Ghost town. When the hell do you walk into a restaurant and it doesn't smell like food ?!? Well....here is the place at 715 pm !! Dry chicken. Seemed like it was made this morning or yesterdays. Frozen fries just fried...McCain's...with tax...half chicken and fries...13.15$....what a waste ... of money...portuguese...NO CHANCE...
