I am new in Montreal, with my mother who is a very picky eater. But, after eating the fish, she called and say: ”there is nothing to say, it just hit the spot 🤤. And, I also like my fish done a certain way, nicely seasoned, tasty, and specially not dry. I ... could not agree more with my mother on this one. It is African style cuisine but nicely adapted for all to enjoy. The staff is really very nice and friendly. Seems certified halal, though I just went for the fish anyway. Pleasant with tasty food and accommodating service. The atmosphere is a bit too cold and dark, and they seem a bit understaffed, leading to long waits.

Their fish is very delicious. Other side dishes were great too. Only downside is their tables were not very clean during the last time we visited. Apart from that everything else was good. We've ordered goat plantains rice and fish, the bill came up to 70$, which is fine because we always eat outside, the medium goat and plantain came up to 30$. When I opened the box, it was pretty much empty, I can literally count how many peaces there was and ... the goat very dry. As for the plantains they were burned. It was never my type to write a review or a complain on any restaurant but this time they went far. When I called them to explain they said that I should count how many peaces they were in the box and I shouldn't complain because it's a medium goat size. I will simply keep going to my regular places like Hot Africa on Queen Mary, food is amazing and you get what you paid for. Read more
