In response to the review regarding the prom ceremony held at Boca, there was a miscommunication between me and the students. The space reserved for us was perfect for the size of the group. The owners came through and delivered excellent food and service on a busy Thursday night. Italy ... played Spain earlier in the afternoon but we were treated like first seating service. The olives and lupini drizzled with olive oil was a touch of authenticity. The cod was beautifully cooked. Buttery and tender. Those classic Portugese pastry were the best I've ever had. the food and ambience was nice but the cost of the food was not worth the portion sizes or taste. my school had our prom here on a very hot day and there seemed to be minimal air conditioning. not only that but the venue did not reserve the entire ... space for us like discussed; so we were stuck in the back section of the restaurant while people were in there like it wasnt even prom. its very pretty but just more expensive than it should be for what you get. ANDY MF'N ACES MAN! What an amazingly unexpected awesome night. Andy is fantastic and a great host. Some really cool historical pictures in the place too. We were so busy chatting I forgot to take many pictures of the food but everything was delicious. I had the paella, my wife had ... the whole fish. We also got the special croquettes. Loved them all. The food is great, but the place is just a whole vibe. If you drink with Andy he'll show you magic tricks - even if you don't drink with him he'll talk your ear off about the Eagles. FLY EAGLES FLY! Was such a great first visit! Servers gave incredible service, food was delicious, fresh, and unique. It was also quite affordable for the quality and quantity of food we received. We left full, and super satisfied and spent about $65 / pp on a 3 course seafood-based meal with wine ... for 2. Enjoyed our first visit so much. Great food, wine and service! I recommend the octopus salad and codfish croquettes. It was fresh, flavourful and the octopus was very tender. Overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely come back to try more items on the menu!
