Tasty Food Pizza - Montreal, Quebec

The all dressed pizza was good, but for the size of it (one size only, 10 inches) it was rather expensive. Nobody else in the joint. The waitress was aloof and although I heard her speaking in both french and english, I had to repeat myself and explain what I ... wanted in both languages. For decades this place has made the same high quality personal sized pizzas with the best quality cheese, pepperoni, sauce and accoutrements. Oddly enough I love their basic house salad and their spaghetti and meat sauce is awesome. Everything they offer is great. Atmosphere is dated and needs some updating. Service is pretty ... good too. $31.25 for a 10" pizza, that is not even enough for a young kid, the bread was dry and hard, prob was an old pizza, you can tell it was not fresh, worts pizza place so far, totally not recomended.

My pizza came burnt and the owner handled it VERY badly. I offered to send a picture and he kept arguing with me that he made the pizza himself and it was not burnt. He offered to send 2 new pizza's but but that time it was after ... 8pm and we were not hungry. I asked if we could have a credit for the next time we ordered and he said we don't work that way. So many times I've passed by this restaurant on Decarie, laughing to myself about the fact that a restaurant put food in their name, and the need of including "tasty" also seems a bit forces. I laugh no more however because the food was excellent! I had the tasty special ... pizza, good food, so tasty, it all made sense. I can agree with the other reviews saying pizzas are a bit small, and it's not cheap, but with 3 kids, 2 under 5, we still had a great time. Read more
