Piazzetta - Montreal, Quebec

I've lived next to this restaurant for 10 years and never once went in unless it was to give my resume when I was in high school. I don't know why I never ate here but it just never came up as an option. I went recently for my cousins graduation ... dinner and really enjoyed my time, they are great with groups. Patient, attentive, and quick. Also it's not too busy so it's easy to reserve for large groups and you won't be bothered by the other customers or bother them if you talk too loud. They have lots of pizza choices and with whatever you pick you can add a small or a big table d'hôte. The small includes the entrée and desert of the day with a drink, and the big you get to choose which entrée and dessert you want and a drink. I ordered the buffolone pizza which is Pomodoro sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, 100% Quebec buffalo mozzarella, Orphée olive oil, fleur de sel, dill, coriander, and fresh basil. It was delicious! I don't usually love pizza but was really satisfied with my choice. I also got the Caesar salas as my entrée and the chocolate fondant as my dessert. It was too much food but very good. We recently visited La Piazzetta Outremont, Montreal with our family. To say that I am in shock is to say nothing. Of course, we should have been strained by the fact that there were no visitors besides us. But we were tired and hungry. When we ... entered, the nice waiter nicely offered us a place. For the bar sat two who were in dirty clothes, which even with the bottom could be seen. But I could not think that it was the staff. When we made an order, after some time a man in a cap, and when he got up, we saw his not really dirty pants and a T-shirt, which was brown from sweat and in divorces, and so this man slowly wiped his nose into the kitchen. The second lady sitting on the bar dismissed her hair dirty and sat for a while and ruffled them, it all happened a meter away from us. At this time, the waiter served us ice water. Who had the ice in the glasses who do not. But it is not important. When he returned to the bar, he did not even hide, and looking into my eyes, he drank water from a jug where this type of ice was poured. And so he drank every 5 minutes. We asked us to change the water to bottled. While we waited, this lady ran into the kitchen and ran out and let her hair loose. Also there were two more people of a not tidy look, one of whom immediately made himself a coffee and went to the kitchen. In the kitchen it was audible that we were heating up food in the microwave. And this young lady, having returned for the bar, began to make herself a maykap. Expanding all the available cosmetics. At some point she was called, tearing it off and she began to run with a half-smeared face of foundation. My patience was over. I called this nice waiter and asked: "Is it normal that he drinks water from a decanter and is this a restaurant or a toilet?" She just needs to leave. And if we need to pour water, then we pour it from another decanter. ”I waited for the order, looking at the work of art, just went for a walk. My family stayed trying to eat. I have not touched my own. I even could not drink bottled water, since the fingerprints on the glass impressed me once more. And by the way, the food was terrible, dry. Types were included in the price and we fully paid our bill. The waiter offered to take my portion with him. Naturally we do not need it. Hope he had a free dinner. Coze place. Great staff. The pizza is quite good, but a little light on the seasoning (fortunately, every table comes with oils and other dressings to spice them up). Some of the menu items are pretty imaginative (like the rolled pizza) and there's plenty of vegetarian options here (including gluten-free ... crust!). Read more

Good place with tasty food, nice ambiance, staff are very kind but service is very slow. There is no service done to the table before the requested dishes such as bread or some welcome bites

The worst restaurant ever. The waiter was rude. When we asked for more water; he said you have on your table! Later, we asked again and he brought hot tap water. Pizza is not worth it.
