Acropolis Pizzeria - Montreal, Quebec

Delivery very slow and I’m not accepting the pizza they’re gonna take it take it back. Do not order from them because it’s really slow. Go pick it up instead. it took an hour to come to my place so i told the driver to take it back

Have t been here in ages… the food and portions are great. Prices are very good and fair. Pizza and Greek dishes are highly recommended

So sad to see the name that was built over decades of hard work and discipline come to ruins in this way. My better half told me about this place - raving about the owner and the food quality from years passed - when we drove close by the area. So I ... encouraged him to stop and lunch there together- as the timing was right and I had not known this place. On a Sunday afternoon - when there were clearly 5% of total seating areas occupied- you could still find tables with dirty dishes and filthy tablecloths surrounding your peripherals. The waitress seemed so unbothered by your presence that you could have promised to turn her feet to gold and she still would not have bothered to acknowledge your existence... Forget checking up during your meal- forget making sure you have everything you need.... the ambiance of this place is that they cannot get rid of you fast enough. So very sad - not only in reference to my starting point - but sad also that in this day and age where people in the service industry are fighting nail n tooth to stay alive - you can find businesses that just take it all for granted. I am so very disappointed with my first visit to this place but I would definitely tell you - take out is best. The submarine bread is perfection and very much worth the take out. But... as we were discussing the place - 'my partner mentioned to me the first review that popped up - featuring the cockroach as a guest star and ..well... I just had to share. I don't want anyone to ever lose their livelihood- but it is SO incredibly important and crucial to look out for people's well-being when trying to provide a service. Especially when it concerns food. As much as we would have returned one day - if only for the subs.... there is NO chance in hell we'll ever be back.... Edit: Several years later: never going to this place again. The service has declined and on our last visit we had a cockroach run across our table, there was NO reaction from the staff other than to squash it once we changed tables. Not only was I disgusted, but we ... were not even offered any kind of compensation. I’ve been here several times, always enjoyed the food, great little place for a pizza. The service has never been great. We most recently had a waitress that clearly hates her job, such a poor attitude, like anything we asked for was a bother. Despite being the only waitress, she took time to go out to have a cigarette but never came to offer coffee or desert. Read more

I enjoyed the food here. For first try Italian &Greek food in MTL, to be honest, I like this place. I guess all of the food here are good (I hope so). Not really busy of dining room, I felt really relax. Atmosphere is good! When I looked at the ... menu, OMG, a lot of choices. It is good if you go with family and friends for party.
