Visited here on a return trip with my 14yr old to show him my go to spot for patties and Rock cake back in the 90's. Sadly though the patties aren't the same anymore but I'm happy to say the rock cake is just as good as I remember, you ... can still smell the aroma of them baking in back of the store just like I remember as a kid growing up. Best roti in town, the goat roti is to die for the Jamaican Patty is so flaky and delicious would 100% recommend this place for good West Indian food. LOVE THIS PLACE, they only take cash just to give you a heads up and closed on Sunday.

When I was a kid, I lived behind Mr. Spicee. Use to go to the back and Chana would put me to work with the rock cake( coconut 🥥 bread) or the Patties. I love hanging out with them. When I come back to town to see my friends and family, I ... will always make an effort to stop by. Btw, they have vegetarian options also. Other place have opened since then, but the number 1# place to get a rotie, Jamaican pattie or rock cakes are @ Mr. Spicee. Not even worth to go anywhere else. Always a pleasant experience. The patties are awesome - I don't know anywhere else in the city that makes them as good as this place. The quality and pricing of the patties is excellent. The staff there (the owner?) is extremely kind and helpful, and willing to chat.
