Brilliantly crafted and creative cocktails. Everything we had was both refreshing and tasty. The perpetrations were exciting to watch and resulted in drinks that were balanced, tasty and different. The service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended.

Honestly, I would love this place to remain a secret local spot, and am very tempted to give it one star just so it will remain the unpretentious hidden gem that the neighborhood has kept for itself so that tourists don't come in and mess with their jam. The Lab is ... an excellent name for this place. The people behind the bar truly deserve the title of Mixologist. Unlike most places where the bartender's prefer that title, The Lab is completely devoid of pretense or condescension towards their less knowledgeable clientele, which makes this place a rare and wonderful gem. If you are more interested in how quickly you arrive in Buzzville than in taking the scenic route, this is not the place for you. If you aren't adventurous and want a pint of Bud Light or a well vodka tonic, there are definitely better places. But if you're up for letting them, The Lab provides guided tours that will pick a route that will be an unexpected and truly enjoyable experience. I am fluent in the languages of wine having worked in the industry, but am barely conversational in the languages of spirits. Our Lab experience tour guide took the reins, understanding that we were in what amounts to grown up kids in a grown up candy store, and overwhelmed with choice. She definitely spoke my language when she did so, asking whether we preferred dry or fruity cocktails. From there, she mixed each of us a unique drink based on our preference, choosing herbs and proprietary bitters to blend like a wise woman or herbalist of old. Each drink was flawlessly presented, and deserved proper respect and reflection. Sipping was definitely the only way to truly appreciate the complex and surprising depth and blend of flavours. Amazing place. Gets busy on weekends and very calm and cosy on weekdays. They have a huge variety of cocktails and their labtenders can guide you very well into trying something that you'll be sure to like.

Best cocktail bar I've ever been to. The drinks are amazing and the employees are very personable. Go early before they're too busy to enjoy happy hour and avoid waiting too long for service. Jessy is so passionate about her job and makes creative and delicious drinks.
