Came out to Bar L’Barouf for a drink with my friends. We ordered espresso martinis, they were not the best. The bartender put heavy cream and a pack of sugar into the martini, it felt like an iced coffee with vodka. My friend suggested we try this establishment here on Saint Denis. Neither of us had ever been here before so we didn’t know what to expect. It was a pleasant surprise. Great French bar in the Plateau. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed, and the waitresses are extremely nice. Great beer and wine selection, and it looks like they make a very good cocktail too. Uniquely different from anglophone bars. $10 for Cheval Blanc is a bit steep.
