Had an amazing experience here. North African food is one of the specialties of Montreal. If you're visiting from outside of town I'd highly recommend this restaurant. The service was warm & accommodating. The food was served in some marvelous traditional clay dishes, with a wonderful, home-cooked feel to it. ... The ingredients were well-prepared in their compact kitchen. The decor of this place is a highlight as well. I particularly like the fabrics hanging from the ceiling. Exquisite Tunisian delicacies in a beautiful atmosphere with friendly service. I have been to several North African restaurants, but this one stands out from the others. The appetizers (especially shakshuka & bread for mopping it up!), Tajines, and pretty much everything is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. This is the best Tunisian food I’ve ever had before. The portion was huge and the price was very reasonable. I had to take the leftovers home. Their lamb is just delicious. The only thing is that it was a bit hot in the restaurant and the air conditioner wasn’t ... really efficient enough. But I will definitely visit again. Read more
As a Tunisian myself, I expected the food to not be as good as home, but I was totally wrong. Not only did this restaurant surprise me with the food, but the service I received was one of the best I've had in Montreal in a very long time. If you’re ... looking for a North African or Tunisian dining experience in Montréal, this is definitely the choice. I highly recommend the “special degustation”, it provides a complete experience and you won't miss a thing. If you go on Friday or Saturday there is a little oriental show around 10pm. Read more
