I am not familiar with the cooked food that was on display and there were no explanations either of what was on display either. I guess the usual clients know it by heart. But they had quite the assortment of home cooked soups which was nice to see. Staff was ... friendly. Will visit them again. Wheelchair accessible ! Mr.& Mrs. K have a wonderful bakery. The bread is always fresh, as well as all the other baked goods. The take out foods are delicous! BH

Food is oK. Breads excellent. cashier , will short change you. One must always be on the lookout ( always same cashier) Charge from from 0 to 0.20 for a plastic bag. If you buy 1 item at time it wont get punched into the cash !!

Larger selection of prepared food. Always fresh and delicious. The bread and knishes cannot be beat! This is my first and last stop when I visit Montreal.

They have a habit of displaying food that's passed the expiration date, I mentioned it a few times and was always told not to buy it but they never removed it off the shelves. I would suggest noting the expiration as they leave things on there 3-4 weeks past due. ... They also don't put ''best before'' stamps on a lot of their products like the kugels and the soups so it's hard to tell how old something is nor do I trust it if there's no stamp given their track record Read more
