Hôtel Omni Mont-Royal - Montreal, Quebec

The wifi signal was too weak to connect in mine or my family members' rooms. As they only have a tv for you to stream from your own device, and this only worked with their wifi, the tvs werent useable except for ppv. room smelled like mildew, yucky sticky carpets, ... and was dusty. There was no fan in the bathroom and everything became soaked from the shortest shower. The air conditioner was very very loud, and yet the room was boiling (the lowest setting on the ac was 16 but the room was 23+). My room service order was wrong. The bedsheets didn't feel clean. We adored the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal! We were there for the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix and though the room rate was quite high, we felt we got great value from the hotel - and this year it was even the Ferrari team hotel. On check-in they gave us a lovely ... gift bag with the F1 program in it (a nice $20 surprise!) and also some nice spa gifts (face cream with sunscreen, face masks, etc) and a small box of chocolates. Every evening they dropped off two bottles of water and two chocolates! The staff were just incredible all around. Every single interaction with them was incredible. I had mentioned on check-in that we were also celebrating my birthday and they sent a complimentary, delicious birthday dish to our room as well as a thoughtful, hand-written note! I was blown away by the hospitality. The location is perfect - it's a block and a half from the Peel Metro station (green line) which made getting around absolutely effortless. The Montreal metro was the pinnacle of mass transit - it felt like every time we got to a station the train was right there! Back to the hotel - we stayed on the 21st floor and the view was fine. Honestly we didn't care about the view - we enjoyed the city so much outside the room that we were there for a bit in the morning and then after dinner for the evening only. We found the beds comfortable but they slept very warm. Easily remedied by sleeping under only a sheet by me. The bathroom was well-lit and large. The water pressure was almost too much - so just use the lever on it to have less pressure. I really can't say enough about our visit. We'll be back! Read more

This was our first time here and the high end class and assistance was outstanding. Everyone was excellent. Veronique was the greatest consierge I have ever had the privilege to deal with, a special thank you to you. There are several cities that I frequently travel to something that I need when I visit them is a hotel that I truly enjoy staying at time and time again. For me, when I visit Montreal, that hotel is Omni Mont-Royal. I love the ambiance, the amenities, and ... the location. But most of all, the staff really made my stay great. I wish I had made more of a point of remembering names of employees because the service my fiancé and I received was exceptional. People there remembered your name, what you were up to, offered great restaurant and activity suggestions, made good conversation and some good jokes. This is the spot. I'll be back. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It exceeded my expectations. I can't give it 5 stars since it is not something like a Four Seasons, but for the price, it was amazing. It was clean, efficient, large room, well furnished and located for business and pleasure. ... Bathroom was fine, but only call out would be a renovated bathroom with walk-in shower.
