Was sick and needed something HOT , SPICY and AFFORDABLE. This place is great, they make the food in front of you and ingredient seem very fresh (which also cause some waiting).

In the Eaton center food court - really delicious, fresh made to order food. Great deals on bento lunches, bowls and sushi. Service was impeccable, warm and friendly. The beef sukiyaki is definitely a must, and their sauce makes the dish. There are lots of delicious sides also to have ... with your meal. Amazing Japanese style food in the food court. It was our favorite place to visit before Covid times when we were working in the Downtown. Edo Japan is in the food court of the Eaton’s Centre. There are a lot of Asian restaurants there and Edo is the better one. We ordered bento boxes. You can choose a neat and 2 sides I chose the shrimp tempura and a 4-piece sushi. Tempuras are ... tiny but tasty. Sushi looks not that great but again tastes good. Next time I’ll try dumplings and spring rolls. You have to be patient as the cook is awfully slow. They use yummy Japanese rice. Meat is cooked in front of you. The vegetables including mushroom are good. Remember to ask for extra sauce or the cook will give you just very little. Overall the food is good and reasonably priced. I’ll return to try other stuff.
