Super simple place with a relaxed atmosphere and a small menu that's done well. All dressed hot dog has lots of toppings and the Michigan is generously topped. Tasty and cheap. The poutine has really nice gravy. The curds are maybe not as squeaky as I'd like but overall very good. Hot dog and poutine. Hot dog was a small size, but loaded with toppings. If you're expecting a big sausage type dog, you will be disappointed. For a dog under $3, it's perfect. Poutine was piping hot, loaded with curds. Gravy was good. Fries are typical of Montreal small shops, which I ... generally am not a fan of... But it seems to be the norm here, so can't penalize them for that. Decor is cool - pictures all over the walls, mostly of hockey, but also of a few h-core customers. Service was quick and friendly. Plenty of tables to sit at outside however not many indoors and with chairs . Pay by cash only!!! But very reasonable prices! My go to is the poutine, the potato fries are thick and sweet and theres enough sauce and cheese is perfect and squeaky, and the portion is very well ... pakced for 8.75 taxes included. First time here, decided to try it after hearing about it. Place has been around since 1929. Overall pretty good, the food was good although the poutine portions a little small for the price. The decor is cool as they've kept it pretty original dating back to the 20's. We ... also liked the outdoor seating on the picnic tables. I would recommend them but be prepared to pay, the menu is not cheap considering this is hot dogs and fries. Read more
