Hi Excellent experience at Carte Blanche . The table d'hôte is simply spectacular 👌! They even serve Kangaroo filet ! Me my guest took the Australian lamb shank ,very tasty 😋. We both had a carrot, orange soup 🍲 😋, also delicious!. The service was great , the waitress very efficient and friendly. Being a ... Wednesday night the restaurant wasn't to busy . For parking on the street, east to find It's Ontario street east , after all . Our second appetizer was fried goat cheese 🧀. With caramelized pecan and apple 🍎 sauce . This is the first time I have given a 5 star review to a place. Everything was on point. We were offered a 4 course meal for $61 each. I’ll start with the service. The restaurant is small so they only really had 2-3 waiters on the floor. Nevertheless, it seemed ... like they had it all under control - given the fact they also had to deal with a large party of 15 people. We started with the mushroom soup and green salad. I would say the taste was above average and one that is expected of a high end restaurant. 2nd course was better - a sort of salty crème brûlée and escargot. The taste was exquisite, and at this point we knew that we were in for a treat. The main course; we ordered the gnocci and kangaroo. Yes, kangaroo!! And my goodness, it was cooked to perfection. I don’t normally like my meat cooked anything under well, but the waiter recommended medium rare so I went with it. The meat was so tender and the raspberry sauce paired so well with it. Last but not least, we had the cupcake with vanilla ice cream and crème brûlée. They took a risk by adding raspberry to the creme brulée but it was executed so perfectly. A good mix of sweet and sour to end the night. Plus, you get to bring your own wine! Altogether amazing experience. A Very Nice Restaurant!! My First Time trying Kangaroo!(not Bad!) With a 2018 Chateau Dauzac! Desert looks Very Good as Well Apple Pie Turn Over was delicious!

Booked reservations for 6pm Saturday. Not extremely busy. Service was amazing and food was delicious. Bring your own wine is a nice touch. The desert with homemade caramel sauce was devine. Cant recall the name. Stayed for 2 hours and had a lovely evening.

Had the tasting menu, 6 courses, all very good, interesting flavors, enjoyed every thing. Lovely service, Antoine our server was very accommodating. It's a bring your own wine restaurant, always nice. I recommend it.
