Hard working cooks, servers and staff provide great quality Greek/Québec-style diner fare; which for these times is fairly priced. Listing since established 1952 on their old school front signage the large menu above the open kitchen, seating and decor are fitting of the era - despite some likely tweaks and ... slight updates/'fixes' over the decades. On my first visit I got a freshly made tuna sandwich on toasted brown bread with tomato and cheese - that hit the spot. However, what really did and was devoured to the last morsel was their classic club sandwich which despite being a mountain of food is comprised of all the requisite platting components (the triple-decker sandwich cut in fours up the middle, the fresh cut fries to one side, plus the coleslaw and pickles balancing out the other of this heavy weight platter). The large fresh cut fries were moist and semi-sweet yet crispy enough on the outside, the sandwich was well constructed and the whole wheat toasted bread layers were interspersed with plenty of moist-enough sliced chicken, well thought out tomato pieces, shredded lettuce and crushed well cooked bacon. The two pieces of pickle were bright green vinegar-style and the coleslaw was ample and the same one they use for their all dressed hotdogs, which works well to cut the touch of fry grease. Their house blend coffee worked well for pre- and post- meal sippage. I guess over half a century of experience does matter. Did I mention it's still family owned. Keep up the great work.
