Au Vieux Duluth - Montreal, Quebec

Kind of basic for what it is. The menu was written down on our place mats and the decor looked straight out of a hotel. For that kind of atmosphere, I wouldn’t expect the prices to be so high. The food was just ok.

I believe this was my first visit to Au Vieux Duluth, even though I lived here for some time. We went for a special occasion and it went very smoothly. I specifically loved the waiter, who was quite funny in his no nonsense approach. The food was ok, I would ... say that for the price though, it is excellent. You cannot really find much at this price point, notably as the serving sizes are fairly big, so bring a container to take the leftovers to go (and bring your own wine as well). Food is good, depending on what you get. One big suggestion is more staff is needed especially during rush hours. Dishwasher stained drinking glasses are not good.

I go with my husband almost once a week and have tried everything on menu and everything is good, waiters do their job and one waiter in particular I like, not sure if he's the Maitre D but he's good, knows his job and always looks relaxed, ... years of experience... Read more

Cold, tasteless, dirty, mediocre at best. This restaurant has been around forever, just like it's demographic. To begin, service was fine, atmosphere was fine, where my distaste began was with the dirty wine glasses. We had multiple wine glasses that were foggy and dirty inside. I ordered the beef 12oz burger "steak", asked ... for it to be medium rare and it was certainly more on the rare side. Speaking of rare, it's not often I find myself eating cold food, but the meat was cold. Also ordered the fried fish which was still a bit frozen and wet in the middle. Potatoes were potatoes, rice is rice, salad was fine. Butter was frozen, bread was cold, the only thing that we ordered that was worth it was the entrees. For the price, each meal was 19$ or more. Overall you can definitely find yourself better Greek food one boulevard over at Marathons Souvlaki, or down the street at ur local Kojax. Would not recommend this place to anyone who is genuinely looking for a quality meal for the price. Read more
