Au Pain Doré - Montreal, Quebec

Picked up a sandwich and a torsade au chocolat. The sandwich was tasty but I would have wanted them to heat it up a little more for the brie to melt, maybe the employees were in a rush and didn't leave my sandwich in the panini press long enough. The ... torsade was ok. The price for these items is ridiculous. That little torsade was $4.50+tax. Not worth it, there's other places especially in le plateau area who sell bigger torsades for the same amount. The customer service was underwhelming. There were 4 people behind the cash / counter area and none of them even looked up to make eye contact to ask what I needed, so I waited in front of the cash to get their attention. Going to get “fresh” and recently baked bread, if you go to a bakery is what you expect , but no !! Was frozen 🤨!! Also noticed how their garbage bins are 🤢says a lot about this place.If you go to a bakery you expect better bread … if not ... we can buy it from a super market. Read more

Caffe is Great , nice fresh sandwiches and pastries alike !! , Staff is Cool and friendly , recommended .

Large selection of pastries, baked goods and coffee. We loved everything we got! The salmon quiche was so delicious. The croissant was so buttery and flaky, perfection!! Wish I could’ve bought one of everything to try. Plenty of seating, including in the back near the restroom. Restroom was clean.

Really good coffee and really good pastry. What more can you ask for? 💕
