Okay quick fast food. Very good portion size considering the price. While the amount of food you get for the price you pay is pleasant, the food itself is borderline in terms of quality and taste. We were here around New Years, and the poor solo chap behind the counter was having to deal with all us customers as well as the phone calls for orders coming in. The gentleman who took our order and prepared the Chicken Pita's was friendly, generous and smiling. This place ... is smaller than Kebab's down the street, maybe a little grungier, smaller food offerings, and the potatoes looked a little too dry for me to want to taste...but in that moment, being hungry and just needing that super galic sauce fix, this place did the job. The food here was very good. It's not exactly fine dining, but that's not exactly what you're looking for when you come to a place like this, is it? What I mean by that is that the menu items clearly aren't the products of a chef racking his brain and ... coming up with unique and sophisticated dishes. It's more like, "here's some delicious stuff on a plate piled upon other delicious stuff with some slightly lighter delicious stuff on the side." Honestly, I think the fries may have been frozen and re-fried, but they weren't bad under all of that meat and sauce. The place also didn't seem very clean... at all. I didn't get sick, though, and neither did anyone else in my party. The staff weren't very friendly, either. All of this only detracts one star based on the assumption that you'll overlook all of this when you're drunk (which I assume is when most people will come to eat this kind of food). Read more
