Ta Chido - Montreal, Quebec

We went there on a Friday to have tacos, priced at 15$for 3 (available dine in only). It’s the second time we’ve been here. Their tacos are simple but packed with flavors— you’ll actually love them. Our personal favorite: al pastor, mole, cubana, and pierna. We ordered the quesadillas from ... the kid’s menu. I would skip this because it tasted bland; my child did not bother having a second bite. They also forgot to give the apple juice that came with it, but that’s alright. The service was excellent. Service was friendly despite me wearing a Blue Jays hat lol. Ordered the steak tortilla and chicken mole taco. Overall both were quite tasty and fresh made to order. The sauces offered were quite hot to add some heat! Went with the non hot chipotle sauce

Fantastic authentic Mexican food on Park Avenue, with a fun & eclectic decor. We've been coming for years and love their Mole Verde Taco Chido and Cubana torta. Their chillaquiles were tasty & abundant, and they have a variety of addictive tacos to choose from. The guacamole and cactus ... salad are great appetizers. The owner is a baker, and all breads and desserts are his creations. You must try the Mexican coffee, which is warmed by a touch of cinnamon. They've also got delicious horchata, a great drink on a summer day. This is our favourite Mexican restaurant in Montreal, and despite our many visits, have still not tried all the dishes on their menu. Definitely recommended ! Read more

Delicious and very authentic Mexican cuisine. So flavorful! The corn tortillas are freshly made too. 😋 I can't wait to return.

I came here recently with a friend. I ordered 3 different tacos, all of which were generously filled and delicious. I definitely over ordered, expecting the tacos to be much less full as I have experienced at other similar restaurants. I was also excited to see insects and scorpions listed ... on the menu; while I know these items aren't for everyone I know I personally couldn't turn down trying some myself. This place has an incredibly fun atmosphere, I absolutely loved the decor and collection of toys on display. I feel that this place is a must visit if you're ever in the area.
