I have always loved coming to Sara, and now it is one of the few cheap restaurants in the Plateau which still feels like a neighbourhood institution. If you didn’t love the food a year ago, give it another chance! It is consistently great these days, I think because the ... main guys, are now preparing everything themselves. The service is charming and warm, and the plates and sandwiches are generous, juicy, tangy, and fresh. I love the taboulleh. It’s open late, and if you’re on a budget, you can get a satisfying falafel sandwich with your choice of toppings for approximately $4.
