The beauty of this place is in the whole experience. The man (didn’t get his name) who works in the simple kitchen, who is cheery and genuine and interested. The appetizer, which he adapted to our specific dietary needs. The main course, which was a hearty and nicely spiced meal ... (so cheap, too!). The interior space, red matte-like walls, green ceiling and fascinating little items all over the place. And the spanish renditions of pop songs. The dishes here really do feel like home cooked meals. The owner manages the customers and the cooking. He is super sweet and radiates positivity in his restaurant. You can consider this as one of the hidden gems of Peruvian cuisines. You get a three course meal 1. Starter: usually you will have a choice between salad with smoked salmon or vegetable soup. Both were tasty highly recommend the salad 2: Main course: We visited on Friday evening, there were 6 ... options i) Fried trout with rice beans and vegetables ii) Tilapia with rice beans and vegetables iii) Chicken breast with cream garlic with rice beans and vegetables iv) Grilled shrimps with rice, beans and vegetables v) Steak with rice beans and vegetables vi) Pork chops with rice beans and vegetables Basically rice beans and vegetables were common and you can choose the among these six choices of proteins 3) Deserts: There were no choices they give you a strawberry pie slice which is tasty 4) Choice of drinks: you can choose between orange juice, soft drinks or coffee. This place has the most amazing homemade Peruvian food priced at such a good price. 15$ for a 3 course meal - soup/salad, main course, and dessert.
