I hadn't been since the pandemic hit. When I arrived and saw the renovation I was worried they had jacked the prices up, but I was wrong! Prices are still super reasonable and the chicharron is deliciously salty, fatty, and crisp!

This is a cute and cozy little place that I enjoyed for my birthday dinner with a friend. It was very crowded when we arrived and was a tight squeeze for people to get around. I love the pupusa with pork and cheese and the yuca fries. ... They have really great drinks! I did not like where our table was next to the kitchen and in front of the bar…lots of traffic and felt in the middle of everything. The women’s bathroom is falling apart and really needs a major revamp. Bar area is really impressive with the neon lights and set up. Lastly on the website it said that there is a dj on Saturday nights but there wasn’t so this was disappointing and one of the reasons I chose to go to this spot. Awesome place, been opened for a loooong time (I was there the first time over 20 years ago). They’ve renovated since then so the looks is as awesome as the food. And it’s very affordable too! Worth the visit!! ❤️
