Revised Post (2019): The restaurant was deserted when we went there for lunch, just after 12:00. The heating was off and the lights to and in the bathroom were switched off. I have going here for over 5 years, yes maybe the place as not been refreshed for a while but the food is exceptional and never disappointing. The best Sushi restaurant I know of from Halifax to Vancouver. Try it and ask Michelle for her recommendations. You won't be ... disappointed. Read more

I've sampled Sushi from all over the world and when I laid my eyes on the sampling they called a "rainbow roll" I was floored. Their measly 5 piece roll was stuffed, overflowing with imitation shredded crab in a large wad and topped with tiny, lame slivers of raw ... fish. I proceeded to explain to the woman why I was not pleased with the roll.... she argued with me extensively. I ended up finally ordering another roll (this was all take out as we were bringing the food back to our hotel). Even though she finally let me order another roll, she was rude about it and was complaining that I better take this new roll and not say it isn't what I want. We couldn't wait to leave. I've had some excellent sushi in Ottawa and, especially, living in Vancouver for two years, I have to say, this was excellent sushi. We perused the menu on the street and were quickly greeted by the owner at the door, who answered our questions regarding vegetarian options. Was there last night and have to say the food was quite good. Having lived in Vancouver for almost 10years, I have had my fair share of Sushi. This compares to that, fresh product, nice ambiance, great service. The waitress was very helpful and help me pick ... the right things due to my food allergies, would definitely go back again.
