I recently had takeout at Sushi Shop, and overall, it was a positive experience. Here’s the breakdown: Food Quality: The poke was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the salmon poke —it practically melted in my mouth. Efficient Service: The staff was attentive and efficient. Orders were promptly taken, and ... our dishes arrived without delay. The Missing Piece: Unfortunately, there are no customer bathrooms. It’s a minor inconvenience, but worth noting. We’ve been ordering from Sushi Shop for years and they’ve always been great. The order is always ready on time and the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly and I always leave with a smile on my face.

My husband and I were craving sushi and this was the closest to our location. The lady in the cashier told us to just grab one of the pre made sushi plates because they were good. They weren't. I think she only didn't want to work. They didn't have beverages ... and they didn't let us use the rest room. Read more

One of the best sushi shops in Montreal. The quality of the rolls is far superior than any other sushi shops I have been to in the city (I've been to a lot). Very nice service, and very welcoming chef. The other reviews focus on communication issues, which I think ... is unfair. I've been going here since it opened. The owner is not a local, and yet he is still learning both languages simultaneously, which is a huge feat to undertake! He still puts in a lot of effort into communicating with his clients, and I applaud him for that. Most importantly, he is a very very talented chef. Enjoy :) Read more
