Ramen Japonais Ichifuku - Montreal, Quebec

It’s a combination of take-out food and grocery store! It’s such a cute concept. My food was really filling and really tasty. It was very well packed and a good quantity for the price. My friend’s food was a little pricier for less quantity, but it basically *looked* a little ... fancier. They have a good variety of random sweets and snacks. The ones we chose did not taste as good as expected, but were super fun nonetheless. It was a good experience - I would recommend trying it out. I do wish they have a dine-in option though. I love this place, my favorite place to get ramen downtown. Service is quick and the servers are always friendly. I love the Volcano, delicious with a flavorful broth. You get a lot of food for the price. I wish it was a little bigger inside, it seems quite cramped ... when it's full. Read more

Very nice staff, the food was good! I couldn’t finish my bowl tho, maybe because of the appetizer. It was very really good! Service is excellent, very attentive waiter(waitress). Okay folks, this ain’t the best ramen but it ain’t the worse either. I’ve had ramen from 3 continents and this place is pretty good. The large noodle is way better than the thin one, the pork chashu is very tender(almost melting in your mouth), and the broth is very ... flavourful. My con is that is was just a tiny bit salty to my liking but otherwise very flavourful. Staff is the usual Japanese welcoming and very accommodating if you have small children with you. I've been here twice over the last few months and both times the food was phenomenal and the service and kind and attentive. The waiters are in the most adorable plaid shirts, the decor is simply and cozy (lots of wood), and the homemade noodles are so damn good. I ... had the pan fried noodles with mushrooms and replaced the chicken with tofu - so good... And a huge portion for $10. The second time I tried their miso ramen, rich and delicious.
