Probably worst place for sushi, rice was still hot when served, the fish could be more fresh. There was dirt stick to the wall.! Imagine the kitchen... And no AC.! But the service was good.! PS: Tell the Chef to forget the cucumber.

Worst Sushi I ate. If I could give 0/5 I would. The choice of the chef is basically just cucumber with some small fish leftovers and super expensive. Don t waist your money. Worst sushi I have ever eaten in my life! We ordered the sushi boat for 2 at 60$ for 34 pieces. It was hot, chewy, tasted like vinegar and filled with cucumbers. After searching for our waiter to tell him it was not eatable he took the plate half full ... away and gave us a 15% discount. When it was time to pay, the waiter kept my visa in his closed hand to tell me I had to give him tip since he also had a percentage of his sales to pay back. This is THE BEST SUSHI I've ever eaten! I have been to many sushi bars and restaurants around the world and this one was the best....so far. Mikasa offers original sushi creations, and their presentation is the only rival to their palette pleasure. In place of a boring salad ... starter, we opted for mango, strawberry spring rolls wrapped in leafy greens, which were sweetly satisfying. Their standard SEAWEED SALAD even featured the flare of a lively honey dressing with a spicy base. The offered a breaded sashimi dish, which was memorably tasty, and their tempura was not heavy or greasy. Rightfully so, their sushi costs a little more than what you can buy at the mall, but you DO get what you pay for. The Sushi Chefs, 2 of which were female, drive their innovative ideas into creative presentations that leave you wanting more. Everything is made to order, so the quality is super fresh. The arrival of the 6 different platters was pleasantly unhurried, bringing the 4 of us only 1 plate at a time. Many sushi restaurants in the US that bring all your plates at once and try to push you out the door. Mikasa is a gem worth digging for in Montreal, Canada. SECRET: Not sure "what's good?"
