Went on a Thursday night, and for the kind of weather it was outside it was surprisingly empty. I gave it a chance, because I wanted to go somewhere for ramen that I hadn't gone before, but I was unimpressed, and honestly pretty disappointed with the quality of our meal. ... It was okay, hence the 3 star rating. It was the first bowl of ramen I've had for some time, so maybe my expectations were set too high, but it just didn't feel like it had much love put into the broth or the rest of the ingredients. I left the egg in the broth to continue to warm up and cook, but even then by the end of my meal when I went to eat it, it was still really runny. This is the first bowl of ramen that I haven't finished in some time :( I ordered the hell ramen, but it seemed that all they did was add more red pepper flakes than the other bowls. As an appetizer we ordered the gyoza, but it was almost over cooked on the outside? Too crispy. At least the service was good - service staff was kind, a little chatty, but they would explain some history of the place and culture to its patrons which I enjoyed. I would go back to give it another try for the service alone, and maybe a different type of ramen. Read more
