Not a bad place for a pizza and some general apps/light entrees. One thing that we found was that we waited approximately 1.5 hours for an order consisting of 2 salads and 2 pizzas. Pizza is quite nice, but it's super small - and (at least for me) very expensive as for what you pay. The music is very loud which makes it difficult to talk across the table and the place is absolutely packed inside with the tables to maximize number of customers - ... you could basically reach out your hand and grab food of the table of other customers around you.. The pizza was okay. For the price I would have expected a much larger pizza. Both pies were less than 22 centimeters in diameter. It is quite pricey. For two pies and nothing else we paid nearly $45. I've been to this place twice and really enjoyed the experience. The service is great as is the food. My only complaints are as follows: 1) There are only two bathrooms, so you sometimes end up waiting akwardly beside the kitchen. 2)The music is a too loud to hold a conversation with ... anyone that's not directly beside you. 3) Not so much a complaint, but a comment... the prices are a touch too high for what's served. Ignore all of the angry back-and-forth in the older reviews of this place - Don't let any of that put you off. This place really isn't that bad. Clearly Romeo is a bit of a "place to be seen" and the music is far, far too loud, but there's still something a ... little unpretentious about it left, particularly with the staff who were friendly and attentive. Beyond that, their pizzas are quite really quite nice, and they supplement them nicely with a few "microbrews" (well, Romeo branded generics, but in themselves they're nice if not overpriced). Definitely recommended for the pizzas and the service. Perhaps stay close to a window if you want to be able to think, let alone hold a conversation. Read more
