Pizzeria Jacques Cartier - Montreal, Quebec

Here you see a $26 meal: fish and chips with a handful of fries, tartar sauce (in blisters) and coleslaw salad (in a shot glass). I returned this. Unacceptable

I came here with my family Wednesday and we were greeted right at the door and then seated immediately. The service was very good and the food as well. We had a great experience and we will most definitely return to this place when we come back to Montreal.

Food was ok but pricy. Pizza and smoked meat sandwich was good, and the fries were really good, but hamburgers seemed to be frozen patties, not fresh made.

Is it high gastronomy? No. But we keep going there every once in a while because the atmosphere is great (if you get a spot outside or by the window... you can hear the street performers for added entertainment), our kids love the pizza and spaghetti, the beer is nice ... and cold, and we always enjoyed some of their pizza and pasta dishes and their salads. It’s a good place with an excellent location. Loved the vibe. The staff is also very good. I didn’t quite liked the food. Not all pastas are good.
