I booked a Sweet 16 bday party here and I am so happy that I did. The bottom level was all ours and we could connect our music to speakers with a microphone and strobe lights so we could do games and dancing. They offered me sit down service or ... family style for dinner. I picked the latter and there was plenty of food for all the guests. The food was all completely authentic Italian style, healthy and beautifully prepared plus they even offered an amazing tower of profiteroles for a birthday cake that the teens loved digging into. My friends, family and I came here to celebrate my birthday and we rented out their basement, it's the perfect size space if you want to throw a party for around 30 people or do a nice dinner. The food was excellent as well as the service and the staff ... seemed happy to help us. Will definitely be coming back! Read more

Best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in Montréal, the food was authentic & great quality. The restaurant is located by the river so on a summers day, the atmosphere feels like a European summer. Definitely coming back!

I went to dinner here after a spa day. I arrived at 7 pm please tell me how I only got my food at 9 pm.. As a solo diner. I was told to sit where I wanted. The restaurant wasn't that busy. The service was terrible. It ... seems very disorganized. I waited about 20 minutes for the server to come and he asked me what I wanted. I told him water to start. The table wasn't ready with cutlery and no water was available. I asked for a glass of wine, waited for another 10 minutes... I asked what's taking so long. Waiter offered me a complimentary drink.Waited another 30 minutes for bread and the Bruschetta that was soggy. After another 20 minutes took my order. Ordered the stuffed canneloni. Was basic. 2 shells. Cheap. Will not be returning. I can only imagine large groups. They are probably there for the weekend. Terrible service. Read more

Great location, the food was great but dismal service, possibly related to the time we visited (Sunday 3:30PM). The restaurant was almost empty and after selecting our meal off the Table d’hôte menu, we were told it was only available at lunch or supper… it in between. Wish that was written on ... the menu or simply removed. We asked for a few minutes to revisit the menu, which ended up being more like 15 minutes. The food arrived quickly, but our empty water glasses were left empty. I finally took a water pitcher and refilled our glasses. I also had to get the pepper grinder myself, as nobody returned to see if we were missing anything. This is service 101. Took a while to flag someone down for Parmesan, which was simply in a little glass jar. Would have been nice to have fresh, but the pasta was delicious nonetheless. Great location, lovely food, we simply felt like orphaned guests. I suggest coming during their busy time, hopefully you will have more attention from the staff. Read more
