Starting with a burrata imported from Italy, it was undoubtedly one of the finest I've tasted. The complimentary bread, served ... with perfect butter, was a treat in itself. The Gnocchi di Ricotta al Pomodoro con Burrata was a pleasant surprise for a non-gnocchi eater like me. The lamb dish we shared was flawlessly cooked, offering a remarkable taste. The crème brûlée, while not the highlight, was still enjoyable. The ambiance enhanced the dining experience, making this a top-notch Italian restaurant. What can I say, this is literally my favorite restaurant in Montreal! Food is absolutely amazing and the service is second to none. Decor is cozy and they have a great selection of Scotch at the bar. Deserts are also off the charts! I highly recommend ... the maple cheesecake and the crème brûle! Getting the Burrata as an appetizer is also a must, best I’ve ever had! Prices are also very reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the dishes, you’d easily pay double downtown for food half as good. I also recommend sitting at the bar and getting a drink with Joe the bartender, super friendly and really helpful in suggesting what to eat and drink. Excellent restaurant with excellent service and top notch food. I had one of the specials of the day which was bison. It was cooked to perfection and had a balsamic berry reduction which paired with it perfectly. They serve fresh focaccia while you wait for your meal ... to be prepared which was delicious as well.
