Overall a nice experience. The grilled octopus was a bit chewy, the mussels were good and the Gnocchis were delicious. It's BYOW and not expensive. The waitresses were both very accommodating and quick.

I enjoyed every bite is the best way to sum it up. I had the braised short ribs. They brought a steak knife but all that was needed was a teaspoon. They were so tender. After seeing the mixed reviews for this place, I wanted to go demystify it my self. Short review; it's a decent restaurant with a price tag to match. I recommend it and would go back for a regular night out (wouldn't recommend for a special event though). Now for the ... detailed review: Food: I saw some people comment that the food is fresh and delicious, and others say it's made in a microwave. We tried a couple appetizers and some pasta dishes, and I can attest that nothing is made in a microwave. However, it's not perfect either. It's good food, not a gastronomical journey. Given that the price tag matches the quality of the ffood, I give it 5 stars on the food. 2 people with an entrée and main dish cost around 60-80 bucks. One could dine for as low as $20 even. Service: We were one of the first customers to be there, so we got a lot of atteniton. The service was fantastic and would normally get 5 stars. However, while it was slow, the servers were chatting loudly out in the middle of the restaurant, which we found unprofessional. What's worse, they were talking about one of them being sick, and joking about it. Having the people who are handling my food talking about being sick and joking about being contagious was a major turn off. For this, the service gets 3 stars. Cleanliness: The facility it's self was very clean. Open kitchen (which I always prefer) and cutlery, glass and plates were all clean. Ambiance was nice, right amount of lighting and good music. I give it 5 stars on facilities. PS don't sit by the windows. The headlights of cars in the parking lot become bothersome. In summary, a good place to go if you just don't feel like cooking or just want to go out for a bite without breaking the bank. There are dishes at $12 even. I'll be returning to try the pizza. Great food, great atmosphere and bring your own wine. If you like Arancini(rice balls with stuffing) this is not the place. I ordered the gnocchi of the chef and I loved it. My friend ordered the linguini al Primavera and found the sauce a little on the salty side and ... lacking veggies. The coffee was excellent but the deserts were weak. The staff was friendly and helpful. Service was quick. The resto is on the pricey side. Read more
