Girl on phone hanged up before I could ask her to tell the driver to call me when he is there. Bad french and a little rude. Ordered sacramento pizza and it is super thin (maybe that’s the style of californian pizza, i don’t know.) Excellent wood fire oven pizzas. They know their market, and cater to it well. No bells and whistles, they let the pizza speak for itself. Don't forget that Monday is 2 for 1 on pizzas, Tuesdays for pasta, and Wednesdays for both! Totally worth it for such a great pizza.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pizza, it is thin crust, has fresh ingredients and cooked in a wood burning oven. Most of us had pizza but one person had a salad and another had pasta with everyone giving positive feedback. We even had wine which was ... good and a generous glass for the price (the white wine skid have been cooked but otherwise no complaints). All this for a very fair price. Read more
Was my first time at this place. Pizza was quite tasty & fresh, and service was good as well. The place serves wood baked pizzas and they are quality, but they are not cheap either. $17 for a small to medium size pizza. One bizarre thing that happened, is that I ... paid for my guest, and left a smaller tip than usual (my choice and it was for my pizza, not that of my guest) the owner (?) came out after I left the restaurant, on the street, to lecture me about rules for leaving a 15% tip. I just listened to him and walked away. Its *my* choice to leave what I want, if anything really (since tips are NOT mandatory last time I checked in Quebec) and no one should be "lectured" how much they should be leaving. I left $2 on a $32 bill (with taxes), and the $2 was for my pizza, not my guest. I found this behavior bizarre and annoying. If anything, you should be happy you're getting ANY business given you just took over this place. Having said this, I won't be coming back there, which is too bad because it seemed like a nice place.
