Food was okay but the service was mediocre. The server “welcomed” us a with long face. Maybe it’s the Italian tradition to be unfriendly and impatient to their patrons? The server didn’t bother to refill my glass, I had to ask him to refill once. After emptying my glass I ... just put this glass here and just a to prove that it’s actually their tradition to not fill their patrons’ glasses. There was a table by the window and we would like to take it, but someone looked like the manager told us it’s reserved. But it was not seated and split until we left. And my sister noticed they asked another patrons if they want to move to a window table (the very same table we wanted) It was not hard to feel their snobbishness. We brought our sisters to visit only to find they were not happy at the service at all. When their manager came to and ask if everything’s okay, I told him it was “just so so”. He didn’t bother to ask why but to joke that with the server. They didn’t bother to ask anything until he received his “evaluation” - zero pourboire. If you read this now you now know the answer. We found this restaurant because all of Little Italy was closed until after New Years and were so glad we did. Spicy shrimp was terrific and my son loved the filet mignon. Everything was delicious and the waiter did a great job of making suggestions.

What a wonderful experience! Owner went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. From the complimentary sausage and bread for starters, to offering to make us a type pasta we discovered in Rome and wasn't on the menu, to the courteous service, we will certainly be back and ... tell our friends about this gem.
