Bistro Lustucru - Montreal, Quebec

What a great experience Bistro Lustucru was! If you are a raw food enthusiast, you will definitely enjoy your dinner at Lustucru! We ordered three different drinks - amermelade spritz, sour à la prune and amaretto sour. For starters, we ordered oysters, salmon tartare and ceviche. The oysters were big, savoury and fresh ... and the mignonette sauce was delicious. The salmon tartare came with a fried risotto galette, avocado and sambal oelek mayo. Absolutely exquisite! The ceviche is served with Matane shrimps and sweet potatoes. We also ordered the duck tartare, which was served with an apple sauce and hazelnuts, the Vitello tonnato (veal, fried panko tuna and aneth sauce) and the veal and ricotta Ravioles. The tartares were delicious and the oysters were good, but the calimari calimari was unforgettable.

Beautiful plating for every dish and absolutely delicious. Some really nice private import stuff on the wine menu as well. Very reasonably priced and generously portioned.

Cute and cozy setting, nice ambiance. Service was top notch. The tartars were flavorful. We liked everything we ordered. And the food is fairly priced for the quality. Best tartare in Montreal! They are uniquely prepared and taste delicious! The menu lets you explore different options that you won’t see in any other restaurants. I have to admit that the portions are very small and it’s quite expensive but Vie Urbaine offer coupons regularly so it’s definitely worth it!
