The owner was extremely friendly to me and my friends. He gave us some snacks on the house, then made us some delicious food. Its a real shame that they're going out of business. I hope the land lord of that street gets hit by a car
I liked the fact the owner let us bring our own beer. The food is ok, but I have tried much butter indian food elsewhere. Butter chicken is normally with a lot of sauce and a redish color. The butter chicken here is dry and yellowish.
The food was good, portion is really generous, and the owner is kind.
I went today at noon to get a butter chicken. That one in particular, I had not eaten one for years. Still the same taste. Thank you Ilyas. Best butter chicken in Montreal to my point of view.

I absolutely loved my experience at Masala tonight! Showed up with friends and the owner was very helpful and accommodating with us. The butter chicken was probably some of the best I've ever had. So glad I got to try this place
