Raju was our waiter. He is pleasant, professional, engaged and prompt. The food was the best Indian I have ever had. Rich, robust, fresh, very flavourful, hot (temperature) and delicious. Sweet if you want with no burn, as you choose. Lamb, butter chicken, chip bread, Naan, rice, ALL excellent. No wonder they've been there ... for 40+ years. Simple outdated decor but a number of cool cultural artifacts as decoration. I'd go there to get that food if it was in the alley behind the place. 5 star food experience. Was one of the first Indian food experiences I had many many years ago. I have since eaten at many Indian restaurants. I recently went back as I was in the neighborhood, it is by far the best Indian food, service was good, and can't wait to go back! They have great Korma, samosas and Biryani. However, I find that their butter chicken is too sugary. One time a while back we were also charged $5 for an itemized receipt of what we ordered.

Very good group dinner at this byow. We got multiple appetizers, 5 curries and orders of rice and naan for a group of 5. We were all stuffed after. I would recommend the spicy lamb dishes. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet for my taste but everything else ... was great. Read more

Amazing restaurant!! Staff is extremely friendly and the food is delicious! I have been coming here ever since I was a kid. Don’t hesitate to try!
