Flavours of India - Montreal, Quebec

The ambience and interiors are good but the food is average. We ordered Chicken biryani, Chicken Fried rice and Veg Thali. I would say not a very recommended place for biryani. Taste could be better.

I came here for the weekend lunch buffet. It was something like 16 dollars without tax, which is a very good deal for an unlimited buffet. Every dish tasted very good and fresh, and there were lots of accompaniments such as salad, naan, and chutneys. The tandoori chicken and pakore ... were especially good, and I enjoyed the warm, fresh naan. All the dishes were refilled very frequently with freshly cooked stuff. I ate about 3 plates before tapping out. The gulab jamun was especially delicious, and I could have eaten 20 or so of those. My only complaint is that the buffet selection is rather small with only 3 non veg dishes, but the price is still very good so I don't mind. Read more

Quality of food is better here. Not all the dishes are too tasty but few needed spice and salt. We had sizzlers (Lamb, Chicken) , naan. They tasted good. Paneer based dishes were not too good. This is one of the pretty decent Indian restaurant. The food was really food, the staff was friendly and the place was clean. I had the vegetarian thali. The gravy was really good. And the naan was tasty and hot. I would highly recommend this place. They have buffet on ... Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. They accept cash and card. Only discouragement was that the quantity was less, but the quality is good, really good! Read more

Deliciously well flavoured food with good portions for a very affordable price! Honestly my favourite Indian place in Montreal. Normally we like to get the mango lassi, vegetable pakora, lamb korma, rice, garlic naan, and beef jalfrezi.
