Very disappointed with the overall food I selected. Service was good and the atmosphere was ok. Curry was too sweet and lacked the Indian flavour profile one comes to expect from a North American Indian restaurant. Appetizer was way too salty and definitely gave the impression that ... the fry oil needs changing. Read more
I recently dined at Chez Devi Indian Cuisine, and it was a delightful experience that transcended mere dining. The ambiance, enveloped in soothing music, immediately transported me to the heart of India. The staff, with their genuine warmth and hospitality, added an extra layer of charm to the evening. But ... it was the food that truly stole the show, each dish a culinary masterpiece that allowed me to explore and appreciate the rich tapestry of Indian flavors. It's not just a restaurant; it's a gateway to new cultures, where every bite tells a story. Read more
The food is perfect, If you want to experience authentic indian food this is THE PLACE. Thank you Akash for great and quick service. Quick note: the portions are good, so ask the waiter before ordering and don’t forget to try Samosa.
It was kind of disappointing to dine-in compared to the food I had got via Uber Eats a few years ago. Not sure if the chef has changed. Overall, I would recommend Indian Masala Chai, Tikki and other tandoor related dishes. However, in starters, the tandoor dishes are on the expensive ... side given the taste and quantity. Gobi Manchurian 👎 The spices in the main dishes are times down for specific customers but you can always ask to ramp up the spice level for your order. Staff is nice and can provide good recommendations if you need any help in deciding what to eat. Read more
I was a Brit looking for food, and my goodness was this a welcome sight. Perhaps the best Indian cuisine that I’ve had outside of the British isles. Simply delightful - broccoli starter with cauliflower main. I was grinning from ear to ear. Bon appetite!
