La Diperie - Montreal, Quebec

Back in August, I visited Montreal for the second time and I gotta say. This is hands down, my favorite ice cream parlour/place/spot/etc. Their is an almost overbearing plethora of options, flavors, toppings, and ways to eat ice cream that it compels me to try them all. Omg I LOVE this place. Their ice cream is just too good. Okay so when you go there, there's gonna be a bit of a line, but this line moves fast and you gotta make some decisions fast. Do you want a mini or small or regular? (I once got ... the small and it was pretty big for me so I always go with the mini now) Do you want your ice cream dipped in milk chocolate or lavender or pistachio? (I got white chocolate with graham biscuits one time and cookie dough with oreo crumbles and they were both SO GOOD) Which topping do you want, almonds or pretzels or coconut? There's a good number of things to choose from and it tastes so good anyway. So be ready to make some decisions and then eat them away. Read more

I couldn't even wait until I took my photo before taking a bite! The amount of choices available create an endless amount of combinations to try which makes you want to come back again and again! For my first time there I was really happy! Oreo dipped with Oreo toppings ... was a great choice! The line felt as if it moved rather slowly but there's only so much you could do when people don't decide what they want to get. It was a little harder to order when getting to the counter and seeing that there were more dipping options than seen on their chalkboard doors. But nonetheless I stuck with my original choice! This place was so unique and delicious! You can get your ice cream dipped in a whole myriad of flavors. I chose chocolate mint and was blown away by how delicious it was. I ordered a "mini" which was the perfect size for me. It was only $1 + $1 ... for the dip. Best dessert I've had in a long time! Definitely recommend! Read more

La Diperie is a wonder and unique ice cream experience! You'll start off with a generous vanilla cone dipped in indulgent chocolate sauce. From there you can make your choice from a wide selection of toppings and treats to go on top of your cone. There are usually only two ... servers at a time, so a line should be expected during busy times. What is lost in waiting is made up for by the staffs wonderful service and the delicious cone that you'll get at the end! Read more
